Affidavit of Title Form Software
This specialized type of affidavit is used in real estate transactions to verify certain information regarding a piece of property. This document is generally used at the closing of the sale of a piece of property. An Affidavit of Title is often required by a mortgage lender prior to approving a mortgage. With an Affidavit of Title, a landowner or seller states, under oath, that he or she has Buy possession and ownership of the property being sold. The seller also states the existence of any liens or claims against the property and that he or she has Buy authority to sell the property.
