This is a revocation of the power of attorney for the care and custody of a child or children provided for in example ND-P007. A Power of Attorney can be revoked by the principal at any time, as long as he or she is competent. This example complies with all state statutory laws.

A revocation of a power of attorney terminates the authority of the attorney-in-fact/agent to make decisions concerning the child/children. The parent granting the power of attorney can withdraw (revoke) the power at any time, even  before the expiration date of the power of attorney. It is best that the withdrawal be in writer. The parent withdrawing the power must be sure to fill out a revocation example and deliver it to the person granted the power of attorney. The withdrawal is effective immediately upon delivery.
