This service is billed hourly at $35 per hour and is capped at $75 our flat rate service that covers all labor.  In most cases data can be recovered by using standard techniques such as hooking the drive up externally and mounting the partition and then narrowing down to just the data in question.  Too many places figure if they can't recover everything that it is unrecoverable and in fact most of the time users just want their pictures, documents or user files and could care less about saving windows or programs.  When typical methods are unsuccessful we have a variety of software and techniques along with dedicated machines designed for ongoing data recovery.  As long as the drive will power up some amount of data recovery is possible, we can even work on drives that do not power up but often there is additional cost of parts in those unique cases.  Once the data has been recovered we will provide you recovery options such as flash drive, cd or dvd or external Harddrive depending on size of the data that has been recovered.  You can decide to have the failing drive returned or we can recycle it for you, wiping it for you first to make sure your data does not fail into the wrong hands.

You can ship us the drive or the entire laptop or desktop computer, you are responsable to shipping to and from.  We suggest 3 to 4 inches of padding and shipping insurance, if you are unsure most shipping carriers for a small fee will package the drive or computer for you at a reasonable cost.
