This service is billed per hour at $35 and is capped at $75 our flat rate that includes all labor less parts.  This is great because our customers know how much the bill will be before we even start, if it takes a hour or two more than expected its all covered under our flat rate fee.  Most computer shops charge for every little thing that they do or sometimes things they did not, often having the customer feeling ripped off or taken advantage of.  
All jobs start with a backup of the entire system, then are checked for infections or corruption.  The next step depends on what the unit came in the buy for service for, the most common is that it has become very slow or unreliable.  The only time a customer will pay more than the $75 flat rate is if they need parts to fix the computer properly which would be brought to their attention before any action was taken.  many of simple repairs such as upgrading or replacing failing hardware can take just 1 hour of labor.  If you want an estimate of how much a fix might cost just call, email or use live chat to ask us for an estimate, we will just need to know the make and model of the computer.

Since this service is being offered both locally and out of state you are responsable for shipping to and from, we can providing boxes and shipping materials if requested.  We suggest insurance and 3 to 4 inches of packing on all sides, if you are unsure all the major shipping carriers offer to package it for you properly for a reasonable cost.  

On average a laptop costs about $10 to $15 to ship and a desktop is about $20 to $25.
For laptops we require the unit and its charger and for desktops we just need the CPU.
