What kind of camera do I need?
The consumer market offers two suitable options:
1. Stereo3D camcorders:
These camcorders are developed and built specifically for 3D recordings. They make recording in 3D just as easy as in 2D. Stereo 3D camcorders have two lenses with an optimal spacing to stimulate the perception of depth by the human eye. Both images are saved side by side in a video file and may be overlapped using different techniques in order to create the desired 3D effect.

2. Two camcorders used as a 3D camera system:

What's the best way to start experimenting with 3D?

Using the "see-saw" method, you can create exciting 3D photos in seconds and view them with Movie Edit Pro Plus. The trick consists in taking a photo while placing your entire weight on your left leg. Then, shift your weight to the right leg and take another photo. MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus uses the offset between both photos to overlap them into a fascinating 3D image.
Tip: This technique works only for static objects. If you can control your camera's aperture, you should try stopping down as much as possible to guarantee that your photos are sharp and the 3D image is not spoiled by blurriness.
