Capturing a set of clips in a batch has many advantages, one of which is time. All you need to do is play the DV through the control panel on VideoWorks 6.3 and then click whenever you want to start or stop capturing - then let VideoWorks 6.3 do the rest for you. It will separate each clip into the workspace for you to arrange however you like.
 
 
Edit Your Movies with Effects
 
The new Presto! VideoWorks 6.3 supplies a completely new user interface that now enables you to edit your video using either an intuitive TimeLine or the StoryBoard mode. 

Cutting Room  
Once you have captured your video or imported it, you may want to edit it. In the past, professionals spent weeks cutting the film with much of it ending up on the floor. Now with Presto! VideoWorks 6.3, all this can be done with the click of a mouse.

Presto! VideoWorks 6.3 helps you remove the scenes that are unwanted. Just select the content you don’t like and click “Split” to cut it out of your movie.  Even if the part you want to trim is right in the middle, what you need to do is first use “Split” to divide it into two clips, and then simply cut the end of the first clip and the beginning of the second. You can also mark images you want to keep from the selected video, and crop it to a new video file.

Also with Presto! VideoWorks 6.3, an image can be imported as a video clip to a video cell on the Storyboard or Timeline. Its length can be adjusted too.

It's not hard; just select the sound you want from a library of sounds that come with VideoWorks 6.3 or one that you want from your own favorite sounds and merge it with the existing content or replace it. You can even have sounds fade in, fade out, and echo along with selected other options.

Maybe you feel a background music track would also help to add more emotion to the scene and bring a tear to the viewer's eye. Then you can easily import music from a selection of many sources or from your own CD. Alternatively, if a voiceover may be what you're looking for, then go ahead - you can even add your own narration that you have previously recorded!
