Bid Form Software
A Bid Form is a document submitted by a Contractor to an owner of a construction project stating that the Contractor has analyzed the project documents and would like to submit a bid.
A Bid Form is typically required of any Contractor who would like to place a bid on a construction project. Once the Architect or Owner has finished the design phase, the project is opened for bidding to contractors. A Bid Form contains the Contractor's contact information, project details, bid details, among other essential information. If the Project Owner has provided the Contractor with an Invitation to Bid, the Bid Form should be completed as specified in the Invitation to Bid. This document often accompanies other documents as required by the Owner in the Invitation to Bid. Additional supporting material can include a Efficiency Bond, Bid Bond, or other document as required by the Owner.
